Social Media Cards!

We noticed a trend with social media cards!  These cute little itty bitty cards are a great way to grab the viewers attention toward a specific social media outlet you want to advertise.  We have several versions available, all custom design (with your logo, contact info, etc).  Great marketing is all about looking for the next idea!  You want to help make a great first impression, so they keep coming back for more.  Business Cards have been around forever, and they are still around for a reason because it’s a great, simple, inexpensive way to pass your business information on!

Our Social Media Cards are available with both square and round corners as well as gloss or matte finish.  Other “social media” icons are available, please ask!

The Starfish

“While wandering a deserted beach at dawn, stagnant in my work, I saw a man in the distance bending and throwing as he walked the endless stretch toward me. As he came near, I could see that he was throwing starfish, abandoned on the sand by the tide, back into the sea. When he was close enough I asked him why he was working so hard at this strange task. He said that the sun would dry the starfish and they would die. I said to him that I thought he was foolish. there were thousands of starfish on miles and miles of beach. One man alone could never make a difference. He smiled as he picked up the next starfish. Hurling it far into the sea he said, “It makes a difference for this one.” I abandoned my writing and spent the morning throwing starfish.” ~Loren Eisley, The Star Thrower

One of my favorite quotes, as I feel it applies to our life at this time with our foster son.  No matter what happens in this life, I know I made a difference in this one.  :)  Each day is a new chapter, a new challenge, and a new reward.  Choose to make a difference today.

BTW, I found the perfect necklace, I just had to have!

How to make a No Sew Super Hero cape…

Supplies Needed. 1 yard of fabric, scissors, iron on transfers, iron and a towel

Tie onto child (or adult) and see where you need to cut it length wise.

Tie in Front

Cut short

Lay out embellishments and decorate. LD chose a “american theme” and use a iron to adhere to fabric.

Once finished “Super “C”

Close up
We had so much fun, “C” had a blast making them and shopping for his embellishments, he had a really hard time choosing, from dinosaurs, race car or even puppies.  He decided to go with the “American” theme……I think they all look pretty neat!

Guitarmania 2012

We thought we would try our hand at designing for the Guitarmania 2012.  We had a lot of fun playing with it, and after we actually found out about it, only had a few days to come up with a concept and get it submitted.  We’re happy with the design, but after seeing all the others, WOW is all I can say!  There some super talented designers/artists/creators out there, that’s for sure!  I’m blown away at the talent Cleveland has to offer.  Kudos to you!

What is Guitarmania?

GuitarMania® is a Greater Cleveland community public art project that has raised $2 million for its two benefiting charities – United Way of Greater Cleveland and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum’s education programs. The project consists of large, 10-ft-tall Fender®Stratocaster® guitars creatively transformed into works of art by local artists and national celebrities. The guitars are displayed on the city streets of Cleveland for residents and visitors to enjoy from the end of May through October, 2012. Corporations, organizations and individuals sponsor the guitars and select from a variety of local artists to paint, sculpt or decorate them. Celebrity artists also paint and decorate guitars.

Here was our submission, a simple, whimsical design to help support and raise awareness for adoption/foster care.  We already have plans for the next time this comes around what we’re going to do in 2014 too!

Right now Guitarmania is seeking sponsors for their event, you can check out the exhibit at Arts Collinwood until February 3rd.  Like I said, awesome designs – truly awesome!  I can’t wait to see everyone who’s picked!

Check out the other designs here.
