Today was the first meeting of “Creative’s Unite” a group I started on meetup.com that will meet monthly and talk about running your own design business (photographers, web designers, writers, graphic designers, etc.) with tips, tricks, topics, books to recommend, software ideas, ways to streamline your business, help with client topics/issues, etc.
With summer brings vacations & events, so the turnout for this event was a bit lower, but we still talked about some great topics, everything from “10+ things to not do when meeting a client as well as a bunch of other great topics!” So thank you Sky, Ray & Liz for taking time out of your day and meeting with us. I hope the group grows to a point, where there is so much more to learn from each other.
The next event will be scheduled soon -so look out for it!
