::DIY:: Candy Buffet

Another thing we are doing for my birthday party is a Candy Buffet!  If you look online, of course these fun setups can get very pricey – upwards to hundreds of dollars!  We created ours for about $25, including the glass jars and candy!  Now of course, you can get even more crazy with candies, like delicacy chocolates, etc.  But we wanted to keep it affordable, cute, fun & yummy!

Need:

  • Different Size Jars & Containers (Dollar Store)
  • Ribbon (we used same ribbon from cake stand)
  • Glue Gun & Scissors
  • Marshmallows Dipped in Blue Chocolate (Homemade)
  • Blue Raspberry Twizzlers (Dollar Store)
  • Red Raspberry Twizzlers (Dollar Store)
  • Blueberry Taffy (Flower Factory)
  • Hot Tamales (Flower Factory)
  • Root Beer Glass Candy – (Homemade)
  • Peppermint Glass Candy – (Homemade)
  • Dipped Pretzel Sticks in Blue Chocolate (Homemade)

By spending a little time making homemade goodies, you can save on cost!  We also created these super cute tags to put on each of the jars so our guests know what candy is in the containers!  And we wanted to share those simple labels for you, and the great thing is you can type directly onto the labels, print & cut!
