Happy Valentine's Day!

My husband and I choose not to buy the sappy cards from Hallmark, and instead spend a little time making cards for each other!  Think about it, saving the $5 I would have spent on a card that would probably have ended up in the trash isn’t worth it to me, I’d much rather keep that $5 and I don’t know save it or put it better use on something else!  So this year, after four failed attempts to try to create something really cool, I thought going a simpler route would be better for my sanity and my time.  With the Winter Olympics this week, and my husbands love for snowboarding in general, I thought well why not create him a “Snowboarder Valentine” as opposed to the almost girly valentines with pink and red hearts.  I chose metallic card stock in steel blue and charcoal gray and started to design my little invitation for him.  Because I had fun making this, I decided to share with you the “downloadable” file that you can too, make your own Snowboarder Valentine for that special guy (or girl) in your life!

The picture just doesn’t do the shiny metallic justice!  But my hubby loved it!  If you happen to do this project, please send us a pic!  And we’ll update to our website!
