Design | Printing: Phoenix Connection

I’ve worked with Anne in the past with the Ripple Effect, and know her well through MWBN (My Womens Business Network), She wanted to play on her last name “Phoenix” and the new name of her company, and also wanted it to take on a more “feminine” feel.  We feel we accomplished that for her in this simple design!:)

Social Media Cards!

We noticed a trend with social media cards!  These cute little itty bitty cards are a great way to grab the viewers attention toward a specific social media outlet you want to advertise.  We have several versions available, all custom design (with your logo, contact info, etc).  Great marketing is all about looking for the next idea!  You want to help make a great first impression, so they keep coming back for more.  Business Cards have been around forever, and they are still around for a reason because it’s a great, simple, inexpensive way to pass your business information on!

Our Social Media Cards are available with both square and round corners as well as gloss or matte finish.  Other “social media” icons are available, please ask!

The Starfish

“While wandering a deserted beach at dawn, stagnant in my work, I saw a man in the distance bending and throwing as he walked the endless stretch toward me. As he came near, I could see that he was throwing starfish, abandoned on the sand by the tide, back into the sea. When he was close enough I asked him why he was working so hard at this strange task. He said that the sun would dry the starfish and they would die. I said to him that I thought he was foolish. there were thousands of starfish on miles and miles of beach. One man alone could never make a difference. He smiled as he picked up the next starfish. Hurling it far into the sea he said, “It makes a difference for this one.” I abandoned my writing and spent the morning throwing starfish.” ~Loren Eisley, The Star Thrower

One of my favorite quotes, as I feel it applies to our life at this time with our foster son.  No matter what happens in this life, I know I made a difference in this one.  :)  Each day is a new chapter, a new challenge, and a new reward.  Choose to make a difference today.

BTW, I found the perfect necklace, I just had to have!

How to make a No Sew Super Hero cape…

Supplies Needed. 1 yard of fabric, scissors, iron on transfers, iron and a towel

Tie onto child (or adult) and see where you need to cut it length wise.

Tie in Front

Cut short

Lay out embellishments and decorate. LD chose a “american theme” and use a iron to adhere to fabric.

Once finished “Super “C”

Close up
We had so much fun, “C” had a blast making them and shopping for his embellishments, he had a really hard time choosing, from dinosaurs, race car or even puppies.  He decided to go with the “American” theme……I think they all look pretty neat!
