Why is Professional Photography so…..expensive?
If your house were burning down and you only had time to grab one material thing, what would it be? A photo album? Your computer filled with snapshots of you and your family and friends? Photos are very special. They remind us of our happiest days, our most amazing moments and a time that went by way to fast. The photos from the most important days of your life will likely be passed down from you to your children and again to your grandchildren and even great grandchildren.
Imagine them looking at your album a hundred years from now! How cool would that be? Odds are they won’t still be looking at the flat screen TV you paid $1500 for or wearing those $150 jeans. So , I’ll ask again, why is photography so expensive?

Don’t say Cheese! Just say no to boring photos!
When you look through your families old albums, aren’t there always some shots you WISH you could see? Fewer posed photographs that only remind you of what everyone LOOKED like and more captured real, authentic moments that show you who they WERE? When you show your children and grandchildren photographs of special events and milestones, do you want them to see the one photograph that Uncle Bob snapped in which everyone was forced to smush together and say cheese and half the people in it have their eyes closed and just don’t look natural and relaxed? Or do you want them to see artistic, candid images full of life and energy and emotion?
Remember your life is not stiff poses and bizarre facial expressions, but is full of bright colors, big smiles and intimate moments. That means that as your photographer, I will be as unobtrusive as possible as I document with my camera. I want to know more about you so that I know how best to represent you in my images. Of course I can still do more traditional posed shots, but I will do so in the most artistic and least contrived way that I can!
Just be….Yourself!
